I know I mention Inspiration a lot…but honestly it’s one of the most important things to me. You know that feeling you get when you are just sick of everything? You don’t want to even look at your camera, guitar, pen, the gym, computer, paint brush, yoga mat…anything! The people who truly enjoy what they do for a living and life in general are constantly inspired and know the importance of it. It’s a healthy craving that must be indulged. I love these Inspiration Mind Maps that I stumbled across. They came in a set of 9, so I’ll post them occasionally when I need it.

Thursdays @ the Elevator!

Every Thursday Evening from 7-10 pm at the Elevator Brewery, you can catch the lovely tunes of the Alex White & Friends trio. It’s really a very nice time…very calm & relaxing with a nice breeze on the patio. The food is amazing, there are a ton of drafts to choose from & great music to fill the air!

Congratulations are certainly in order for Chris & Janna! On August 3rd, they welcomed this perfect little creation into the world, Kayvauna Hailee Lewis! Janna is my boyfriend’s sister…so this makes me Aunt Amy!!! Here are some snapshots of her on her first day of life in the hospital & then also her newborn shoot at only 8 days old! She is so very precious! We are all enjoying & loving her so much!

Kayvauna is now my muse! Somehow I don’t think Chris & Janna will mind!

Oh, how I love the Nolan’s! They are repeat clients of ACP & also great friends who I don’t get to see very often! The best part about this family shoot is that there is an addition on the way due in December! Ashley could not be more stunning…pregnancy suits this woman well! Jackson is now 2 years old, cuter than ever & definitely running the show! I also had the pleasure of photographing Ashley’s side of the family, the Roggenkamp’s, who are absolutely hilarious and a joy to be around. Can’t wait to meet that little baby girl!

The trio is at it again! Alex, Billy & Matt were out in full force last Sunday working with Hisham (Head Director of Flickimage.com ) to create some music videos! It was a gorgeous day to be bopping around Columbus, shooting my favorite boys & listening to some good music! The new album is currently in the ‘mastering’ stage and is coming along beautifully! Other that playing at the Elevator Brewery (161 N High St. www.elevatorbrewing.com ) every Thursday from 7-10pm, you can catch the next AW&F show at the Mellow Mushroom (2170 Polaris Pkwy) Saturday August 21st at 9pm!

Ryan & Taylor -part 2!

Every year my family and I go to Bethany Beach for summer vacation. Everyone has wedding fever with Ryan & Taylor’s upcoming nuptials, so we decided we needed a beach themed ‘Save the date!’ Everyone was in on the action…my sister Ashley was quite possibly the worst assistant I’ve ever had! ”I assist no one!” she says. (See pic below) She wasn’t too keen on holding everything & being told what to do. Taylor would secretly put SPF 50 on Ryan’s face every day so he wasn’t red for the shoot & Alex helped with the battery crisis. Anyway, It was fun seeing what I could get my brother to do before he hit his limit! Here they are looking beautiful as always…

Every month, I spend countless hours online scouring photo spreads in as many fashion magazines as possible. I have compiled a huge collection book that I keep to flip through when I need to get lifted with that inspiration buzz! I think I’ll start posting a few monthly…Would you all like that?!?

This photo means the WORLD to me! My Best Friend Schmee and I were honored to pose for the NOH8 Campaign in Ft. Lauderdale! Adam Bouska is an amazing photographer with an amazing vision! In 2008, Prop 8 was passed in California banning same-sex marriage and sending the LGBT community into an uproar. NOH8 was designed to be a silent protest; hence the duct tape covering the mouth. The campaign has grown rapidly in the past 2 years and continues to create a buzz while simply pushing for one simple thing…equality. Everyone deserves some good love! I could not be more proud than to be a part of this campaign! :)
